Project Life Week 5-6

This is my week 5-6 of my Project Life album.  For Week #5,  I was down with a bad head cold then lost my voice for a week.  My husband had just received his new BP equipment that has to be hooked up through the phone line so that when he does his blood pressure and blood sugar it is sent directly to the nurses office at the VA.

For Week #6,  I had just completed the downstairs bathroom and wanted to show the before pictures.

The after pics shows the decorating that I did this week.  The bathroom was done this past summer but I never took the time to decorate it.  The pictures we counted cross stitch pictures that I had done years ago.  I bought another fabric shower curtain and made a skirt for the sink.

I still have to finish the journaling on this page.

Project Life Week #1 - 3

These are my first few weeks of my 2013 Project Life Album.  I am really enjoying making there pages.  I changed the first two page when I bought the new pages and wanted them be all to be the same size and the othere were smaller.

This is my opening page.

Week #1 tells why I want to do Project Life.,

Week #2 is a sample of my normal week, cooking, playing Gin with my husband and work.  I took a pic of the pot of beans because they were like the ones my mother made (I called my sister and she talked me through them).

Week #3 shows what have been going on this week, I started a organizational binder, my puppy eating eating a treat, she is so rotten, and the last two are of my cat we just found out that he has asthma and needs aresol treatments.  We went to the store and bought the box to make his nebulizer chamber (he is in it getting a treatment).

Family Organizer

I could not see myself buying the Folofax Binder Organizer but wanted to give the organizer a go again.  I would start one and never follow through with is so I pulled out an old binder (I have several) went to Walmarts for the refills and got started.  I've only been using it for a week now but love it.  I have got so much more done since using this binder.  I make a to-do list on my weekly calendar page and check things off as I go, I started feeling in more control of what I  need to get done.  This time I feel that I will continue with it at least I hope so.

Project Life - Journaling Cards

Wanted to share some of my own journaling cards for my Project Life book.  I made them to match the background paper of this week also made a few for the week of Valentine's Day.  The cards are the 3x4 size.  These were so fun and easy to make.  You can make them with or without the journaling lines.

With this set I used some of the paper, washi tape, ribbon and fiber.  First I picked out the paper I wanted to use for my pages, cut out the sizes set them aside than used the stuff that was left over.

With the Valentine's Day cards I used the $1 stamp from Michael's and the $1 diecuts from Walmarts.  I stamped the background with the Hero Arts "Quotes" background stamp.  I also used Stickles on the stamped image and the diecuts.
