My other crafts

I thought that I would share some of my other crafts with you, and over the years there have been quite a few. I am a crafting junky, as I tell everyone " it's cheaper than therapy".

These are 2 dolls that I made. They are from a pattern called Tiny Tots. The eye are hand stitched and I changed the directions and added movable joints. I made these dolls over 25 years ago. These dolls sit on a shelf in my craft room. In the background is a quilt that I made.

This quilt is one that I made for one of our family reunions. In the blue squares are signatures of all that attended then I traced the kids hand prints and quilted it that way.

This is a quilt that I made to honor my late mother. It was made from hand dyed fabric using a stained glass pattern that I enlarged. I added small gold beads around her head.

This is a quilt that I made from blocks that I received from a birthday block swap I was in. The center block is hand applique (this is one of my favorite types of quilting). On each side of this quilt are three counted cross stitch pictures I made. I replaced all of my store bought pictures with ones that I made and wall quilts.

This is a closeup of one of my counted cross stitch pictures.

This last picture shows another counted cross stitch picture and a ceramic object that I made called "Father Christmas".

I have sooooo many more items but I did not want to bore you.

Twisted Easel Card

I saw a card like this posted on others blogs but they were both square. I like to make the standard 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 cards, so I decided to play a little and here is what I came up with.

Birthday Card

This is a card that I made for one of my sisters birthday. The image is a digital from All that Scraps called Bouquet Brigitta. The sentiment stamp is by Heidi Grace called Birthday and more stamped in Color Box Chalk Rouge. I used a Martha Stewart border punch called Swirling Lace with a thin piece of Stampin Up Gingham Ribbon Moss. I used my Cricut and the Lacy Labels cartridge to make the lacy edged square. The image was colored with my Copic markers: E11,13,25,49 & 47. YG63. RV19,34,93 & 95. V000 & 01. R83,85 & 89. C01 & 03. I also used a glitter pen by American Crafts on the flowers and Stickles Star Dust on the wings. I did not have a size Nestabilities that I wanted to use so I just used my cutter and scissors to make the square cut.

Here is a close up of the flowers.

1st Magnolia Card

As you well may know I do love my digital stamps. But I do also purchase regular rubber stamps. This is my 1st Magnolia stamp called Happy Tilda from the "Raising the Ceiling" collection. I had a lot of fun coloring this image and I do see a lot more Magnolia stamps in my future.

This was one that I made into a card. I used a flower that I made using my Cricut. I also used a glitter pen to add a little sparkle to the ruffles on the shirt.

Inked Embossing

We were snowed in today so I had a chance to play. I wanted to make a embossed background but I didn't want it solid, so I pulled out my Cuttlebug, Fiskers Plates, ink and started playing. This is what I came up with.
