I was playing in my crafting room and came up with this idea of making a rubber stamp using the Cuttlebug, a Sizzix die and rubber gasket material from the hardware plumbing department. I could not believe how well it turned out. Now I have so many ideas of more rubber stamps that I want to make. I used it this time with the VersaMark stamp pad to make the background paper. But we are only limited to our imagination. So have fun and let me know that you did with this material.

Christmas in July Card

This is my Christmas in July card. I saw this image on Mo's Digital Pencil and had to have it. It is called "Little Elf Pipa". I think she is so darling. The image was colored with Copic markers. I punched the bulbs out with white cardstock then colored them in with Copic markers. I punched the top of the bulbs with gray texture cardstock and made the lines with Copic markers. The wire is made with "Silver Pearl" Liquid Pearls.

Copic markers used were: BG10,11,13. C1,3. R32,35,37,39. G02,05,09. E00,11,13,47,49.
Spica markers: Clear, Silver, Red, Olive.

New Storage Binders

Just wanted to share how I am now storing my flat diecut dies and my new Scrapbooking Inventory Binder. The binders were purchased from Wal-Marts in the back-to-school supplies. They come in different colors. I just love them. I even have my 12" border dies stored in it also.

Card - Flower Girl

This is a digital image form Mo's called "Flower Girl". It was colored in with Copic markers. The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch called "Monarch Butterfly. Just purchased this punch and love it. The background was done with a Fiskers embossing plate called "Lace". The flowers were made using some Prima Flowers "Iced Got Flowers" Pastel Purple. I have a lot of flowers that I purchased awhile ago from Michael's and have to start using them. I'm trying to use things in my stash. I added Flower Soft to the flowers in the image.

Tilda Gone Fishing Card

This is a birthday card that I made for my MIL for her 86th birthday. She so loves to fish. The girl stamp is a Magnolia stamp called "Tilda Gone Fishing". It was colored with Copic markers. The birthday verse is from Stampabilities. The gone fishing and the fishing lure is from the dollar stamps by Inkadinkado. The border punch is by Martha Stewart called "Doily Lace". The embossing folder used is "Tiny Bubbles" by Cuttlebug.

Layering Stamped Images

As usual I was scanning youtube and came across a few very special videos on some very useful products and wanted to share them with you. The first one is Grumbacher Misket Liquid Frisket used for masking. I found this on: dlc8405 channel. This item was purchased from a craft store called: Pat Catans. The other item is EK Success Stamp-a-ma-jig used for stamp positioning. Sorry but I could not remember where I found this one, there are sooo many. This item was purchased at JoAnns. I hope you find this video helpful.
