Corner Bookmark Card

I love to search around Youtube to learn new things when I came across this card on jillsink1 and Splitcoaststampers channels. This was so much fun to make(I changed the size to fit the image).

This is the finished card:

This is the card without the bookmark. You can put your sentiment here:

Kneeling Tilda Card

This is a card that I made with one of the new Magnolia stamps called "Kneeling Tilda". I think this new set is so darling. I made this a very simple card (only layering), I let the paper do the work. Added some ribbon, a bow and a few black jeweled accents.

The Copic markers used were: C1, 3. B91, 93, 95, 97. R22, 24, 27, 29. E11, 13, 25, 29, 47, 49.

Father's Day Cards

These are 2 cards that I made for my DH for Father's Day.

This is the card that I made for my DS to give. It is a Magnolia stamp image called "Edwin with Lizard".

This is a Exploding Box Card that I saw online and had to make. I gave him this one. It is filled with pictures of him and the boys when they were young. I left the back of some of the places to add pictures of him and the boys today. This was so fun and easy to make.

Paper Piecing a Stamped Image

This is a video on how I paper pieced a dress to a stamped image. I've heard about people doing it but have not seen it so I decided to experiment a little.

Tilda with Flower Jeans Card

This is a card made with the Magnolia stamp "Tilda with Flower Jeans". The Image was colored with Copic markers. I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone with the Copic markers by using different colors other than my tried and true go to colors. I have a lot of different colors so I am trying to use them all. I also used a few Prima flowers, rhinestones and pearls. I used the pop out method to cut out my image with the square Nestabilities and framed it with the scalloped square. The borders were cut with two different Martha Stewart punches: "Arch Lattice and Swirling Lace". Ribbon, Stickles and a butterfly was added for accent.

The Copic markers used were: G20, 21, 24, 28. Y000, 11, 19. E11, 13, 25, 29, 47, 49.
Spica markers used were: Clear and Melon.

My Flower Garden

I have been working on cleaning up my flower garden. So far I have pull out all the weeds and laid down all the new landscaping fabric. I still need my mulch (which I will get tomorrow) and a double shepherds hook for hang two of the potted plants that I already bought. Each year for the last 6 years instead of buying cut roses my DH buys a new rose bush (2 have not made it). He buys different types and colors.
